Russia’s Energy Ministry to meet oil cos to mull output cut Wed

TEHRAN, Dec 13 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Energy Ministry will hold a meeting with oil producers to discuss an output cut on Wednesday, Minister Alexander Novak told reporters on Tuesday.

“This week, we will meet tomorrow,” Novak said.

OPEC and 11 non-OPEC countries including Russia agreed on December 11 to cut the combined oil production by 1.8 million barrels a day in order to balance supply and demand.
